Multisport - Culinary Food Production | Age 18-29


The Culinary Production Program prepares youth to secure employment as a kitchen helper or entry level cook. This program combines practical hands on technical training, health and safety certifications, resume, job search and employment readiness supports alongside a short training placement with one of our employer partners. 83% of our culinary trainees achieve employment through this placement process. This program is developed and lead by Hospitality Workers Training Centre and delivered in partnership with MLSE LaunchPad to include a sport component that promotes a healthy active lifestyle. 
About Hospitality Workers Training Centre:
The Hospitality Workers Training Centre (HWTC) is a non-profit organization dedicated to providing collaborative workforce and training solutions that benefit both industry and workers in Toronto’s hospitality industry. HWTC provides training and job placement for new entrants to the hospitality industry and support up-skilling and cross-training for existing workers, in order to support the industry’s demand for a skilled workforce.
